Top o' the mornin' to ya

So, Saturday evening I went bowling with one of my old friends from way back in middle school. We've kinda been in touch lately, but not as much as I would like. The last time I saw her before Saturday was about a year ago. Anyway, back to the story. That day I had purchased my dancing shoes for the Scandinavian festival, and as I wanted to break them in before festival, I was wearing them with some black slacks and a white dress shirt... in 90 degree weather. I looked like an idiot, but oh well. I am not the best at bowling, and as I was trying to explain this to her I proceeded to bowl 2 strikes in a row... needless to say I scored a 118 my first game. Which is one of the highest scores I've ever bowled... The next game... well, I think it was a 71. I had told her that I don't bowl well... I just get lucky... she said I just wasn't trying. Oh well... Then we went to Putter's and played a few games of pool... which I won easily. I love pool... Afterwards we made the traditional trip to Shari's where I ordered my regular: sauteed mushrooms with a side of ranch. It was fun... I had a good time at least... Well...
