more Kentucky
So. I'm leaving for Kentucky on Monday. What a fiasco it has been, let me tell you. My fiasco started with figuring out that the flight we wanted to take out of Portland was completely booked; overbooked in fact. That was no good. After finding this wonderful information out, I discovered that every one of the flights out of Chicago to Memphis were also booked. More bad news. Well, needless to say, we are still going to Chicago. However, we have to spend the night in O'hare. Not so much fun. It's going to be a long couple of days. Really... this is where we have to sleep for the night:
Now, for those of you who don't know, O'hare is a nightmare. The fact that we have to get to portland at 11:30 on monday, just to make sure that we can make one of the 4 flights out that aren't booked, and won't be arriving in memphis until 10:00 am on tuesday, at the earliest, just makes me want to puke. I will not be a happy camper, until we land in Memphis, then maybe my mood will improve, not to mention, we have to go through this all again to get home. Needless to say, it's all worth it. Every cent. Can't wait to see Sam and Tish. What a treat. Wish me luck.
