Survival of day 1

Today was day one of my 3 days straight of almost double shifts. I say "almost" because normal days for office people are 8 hours, but normal days for me are 5-6 hours, so technically it's a double shift.
Yes, this morning I did wake up at 4:00 AM. Can you believe it? Geesh... it was crazy early. Like the butt crack of dawn early. I have to wake up in 7.5 hours, and I'm not asleep yet... obviously. Tomorrow morning we are leaving 30 minutes later than we did today, but still... it's early.
Today ended up being really really boring because very few kids showed up, but tomorrow we are supposed to be more busy than today... thank God. But I still have a double shift... arrrrggg.
Although these double shifts are killer, I just keep thinking to myself "paycheck, paycheck, paycheck." I am going to get one hell of a paycheck, compared to the other ones I have gotten recently.
So, wake me up in a couple of days... I'll probably need it. But so help me, if anyone calls me on saturday morning before noon, I will kill. That is not a threat, it is a promise. I am sleeping in as late as I damn well please, because I deserve it.
Woot... I am going to go wind down for a while, watching Ocean's 11, great movie by the way.
I finally finished Edward Scissorhands, and as far as plot lines go, it was pretty funny, and although the blood looked like it had come out of a Quintin Terantino film (sp?), it was good and warm hearted all around. I especially liked when he popped the waterbed... that was hysterical. Ok, this time I am really leaving. Peace out.

Oddly enough, I'd rather be doing what you're doing than what I'm doing. But maybe I'd have to do what you're doing first to really make that decision, but I know that right now I really don't want to work 7 straight days like my schedule tells me I'm going to . . .
