One day
Do you ever think of what your life might be like in 20 years? Do you think... one day, everything I love will die, and everything I live for now could mean nothing to me then. Do you ever think that one day, at 3 in the morning, when you are 65, you will wake up and wonder what it is you did with your life? Do you think, everything that is important today is just gone tomorrow.
Gone.
Gone in a flash.
You think that maybe some things will stay forever. But they will be gone too.
Gone.
And just like that, your life means nothing.
Nothing.
Just like that, all of your dreams, your hopes, your thoughts about days to come will vanish into thin air.
Poof.
No more happiness.
But if happiness is something you create for yourself. Something you make from nothing, why can't your world be one big, happy place.
Happy. What a word.
Whoever thought of that word might as well have not thought of it at all, because one day, it will be meaningless. People will use it until it means nothing at all.
Nothing.
Poof.
No more happiness.
No more love.
No more hope.
Just a big, meaningless pile of gobble-de-gook.
And what if, one day, when you are on your death bed, ready to die, you tell someone you love them. They laugh, what a meaningless word: love.
What if.
What if everything you loved was gone, and you couldn't express how you love them because words meant nothing.
What would you do.
