Shrimp is... still not on the menu

It has occured to me recently, not that this wasn't already apparent, that shrimp can be quite expensive. I love shrimp... it's tasty, and it's one of my favorites. Unfortunately, at the moment, shrimp isn't on the menu, although I truly do wish that it was. Ah well. I suppose that steak is better. I bet that shrimp feels a bit left out. Why should it not be just as important as steak? Can't it be served with steak? And why does it have to be so insanely expensive?
I seem to be one of the few who actually likes shrimp. Nobody seems to be able to afford it though. Sad day.
