Sonnet 2
Another....
Should I look for your face in my bright stars,
Only to see that your eyes have lost shine?
When cut my bleeding heart, and leave me scars,
I know you seek to tear your heart from mine.
But oh, love, should you send me from your sight,
I should think my life may end in sorrow,
That I will dream of you all day and night
And never see the light of tomorrow.
If it please you, my love I'll sing your praise.
And hold your life in the highest regard,
That stars shine and birds sing all of their days.
But you show your heart is nothing but hard.
Praise you, I will not, for my skies are gray,
For now I say, you took that love away
