Pearl Harbor

My thoughts on Pearl Harbor... the movie...

Now, I haven't seen this movie in a while, but it is strangely familiar to Titanic. See, Evelyn, from Pearl Harbor has a fella, just like in Titanic, where Rose has one too. The difference here is that Evelyn is happy with her fella, and Rose is not, plus, in Pearl Harbor, Evelyn's fella, Rafe, dies. Now, the funny thing is, that Rafe and Cal(Rose's fiancee from Titanic), look oddly similar... check it out...



Yeah... they look similar... And then there's Danny from Pearl Harbor and Jack from Titanic...




So anyway... it all starts with these two couples, Rafe and Evelyn, and Rose and Cal, Rafe dies, or at least everyone thinks he does, and Rose and Cal break it off... sorta. Then, both women, desperate for love, find new hope in Danny and Jack... both couples fall in love almost instantly... ha ha... that happens all the time in real life... Then they have sex, which in hollywood means they love eachother, and everything is great. Until...

"Iceberg right ahead!!!"




Oh no!!!! Lots of freezing cold water because the Titanic just sunk...

AND...

Here come the Japanese...




Uh oh... ok... so the story goes... in the Titanic, Jack dies, and Rose is devestated... My love of 24 hours has died... how will I ever live without him... "I'll never let go Jack, I'll never let go!!!"
But in Pearl Harbor, things take a bizarre twist when Danny dies, again, my love of 24 hours has died... you get the idea, but instead of going on with life normally, Evelyn finds out she's pregnant, and marries Rafe in Danny's absence. Bet you can't guess what they named the kid...
Anyways, I think the movies are oddly similar... I dunno though... whatever...
