I've heard that mnemonics are the only thing that will get you through medical school. Well, currently, I'm not in medical school, and I don't ever plan to be, but mnemonics helped with my Health test studying stuff...
For instance... the 4 different ways to come to love:

1. Lexi reads fancy literature
2. Cats lick red apple lollipops
3. Dolphins train for underwater swimming laps
4. Indian Igloos raise rain from Latvia

Translation:
1. Like, Respect, Fondness, Love
2. Companionship, like, respect, admiration, love
3. Dislike, tolerance, forebearance, Understanding, sympathy, love
4. Indifference, Interest, Regard, Respect, Friendship, Love

And there's always the classic consequences of rape:

Frogs leap suprisingly long distances gaining speed.

Translation:
Fear
Loss of trust
Shame
Loss of control
Depression
Grief
Sexual problems

That's right kids, mnemonics do work.
