Today
Today is a different sort of day. I woke up happy this morning. Tired, but happy. It surely was a nice suprise, I was definately not expecting it. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I assumed that I would not be very happy this morning, needless to say, I was. I was cheery and bright, and I am stil in a good mood. It's amazing. Now, as to what set off this good mood, I'm not quite sure, but I like it.
Considering the fact that I have been in a really bad mood for the past week, and my temper has been really out of control, I'm not mad at all today. I mean, there are still unpleasant thoughts, and unknowns to face, but hey, it's a new year, so maybe my realization of that came a little later than expected.
I will be applying to college shortly, which is a scary, but exciting thing for me. I have lots to do, for sure. Letters of recommendation, graduation announcements, scholarships and the like, I have to get things in order. Not to mention that this month is when I turn 18 (finally!). That means that I may actually be able to find a job in the near future and pay off my guitar bill and start saving for an apartment, with or without a roommate.
Oh, and if any of my friends are reading this, which I have no idea because I don't know who reads this anymore, if you want to get me a birthday present (which is not required of course), I'd rather get money for my guitar bill than gift certificates to Castle. Ha ha, of course, that's completely optional.
On to other things I suppose. I think that, soon, I will be training on my own for track, but I'm not sure if I'm going to do track or drama, or be able to pull off both, it's still a mystery to me. I have been doing weight training lately though, so I'm much stronger this year than I was my sophomore year, which could be a really good thing for me.
I also leave for Portland for the weekend in a week or so with my good buddy Talon. We're going up on a Saturday and shopping, going to a techno club to meet up with one of my friends, then staying the night at his grandparent's house. We're probably visiting my great aunt and uncle which should be interesting.
I almost forgot... tonight is JC vs. Marist girls and boys basketball, the girls are home. Let's hope that we do better this year than we did last year. Of course, Marist is kinda like a legacy really, they recruit and what not for high school basketball, so they have the best team in the Sky Em league almost every year... no fair. Oh well, it should be funny watching the game tonight.
Well, that's about it for now I suppose. It's not like I have anything else to do, but I should prolly wrap this up. So until next time. Have a good day.
